Jay Rifkin
Jay holds a 4th degree black belt in Kokikai Aikido and has been teaching aikido in the Boston area since 1996. He began his practice in New Jersey under Gary Snyder and then Eric Horlbeck, then taught aikido at MIT for many years before opening the MetroWest branch of Charles River Kokikai Aikido with Dave Wade in 2009. Benjamin Goldstein
Benjamin Goldstein began his practice of aikido in 1998, and he has taught students of all ages since 2005. Benjamin studied aikido chiefly in New Jersey and Seattle before relocating to the Boston area in 2009 and joining Charles River Kokikai Aikido. He has trained frequently under many senior instructors in the United States and has also visited Kokikai founder Shuji Maruyama Sensei in Nagoya, Japan, to study with him. Benjamin currently holds a 3rd degree black belt.
